LOCTITE 290 is a low-viscosity, green anaerobic threadlocker designed to penetrate pre-assembled threaded fasteners through capillary action without requiring disassembly. It cures between closely fitted metal surfaces in the absence of air, forming a durable bond that helps prevent loosening caused by vibration and mechanical shock. Its wicking formulation also enables sealing of minor porosity in metal components.
