Astral Bathmate Acrylic Sealant 450g is a high-quality, permanently flexible acrylic sealant specially designed for waterproof sealing and gap filling in bathrooms, kitchens, and interior applications. It contains a powerful anti-fungal formulation that helps resist mould and fungal growth, making it ideal for wet and humid areas. It provides excellent adhesion on ceramic tiles, porcelain, plastic, wood, UPVC, and painted surfaces while forming a durable, water-tight seal.

Applications:

• Sealing around wash basins, bathtubs, sinks, and kitchen countertops
• Gap filling between tiles, walls, and sanitary fittings
• Sealing UPVC doors and windows
• Gypsum board and partition gap sealing
• Sealing around electrical boards and fixtures
• General-purpose crack and joint filling in interior applications

How to Use:

1. Clean the surface thoroughly and ensure it is dry and free from grease or dust.
2. Apply masking tape around the joint for a neat finish.
3. Cut the cartridge tip and nozzle at a 45° angle according to the required bead size.
4. Insert the cartridge into a caulking gun.
5. Apply the sealant in a continuous and steady flow while ensuring proper joint filling.
6. Smooth the sealant immediately before skin formation using a spatula or suitable tool.
7. Remove masking tape carefully.
8. Allow minimum 24 hours drying time before painting or water exposure
