Product Description

ESD-10 precision tweezers feature fine pointed stainless steel tips for accurately gripping, positioning and handling miniature components. Their spring-action design allows controlled gripping pressure, while the non-magnetic construction helps prevent attraction of small ferrous parts.

ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) is the sudden transfer of static electricity between objects. Sensitive electronic components such as ICs, MOSFETs and microchips can be damaged by static discharge, even when the discharge is too small to feel.

Unlike ordinary tweezers, properly designed ESD-safe tweezers help control static charge through suitable conductive or static-dissipative materials when used within a grounded ESD-safe workstation. This reduces the risk of electrostatic damage during electronics assembly and repair.
