I was looking for real SS (not the coated ones) for fixing door/shutter hinges. Coated screws are available all over local hardware stores. If you ask for SS screws, they will give coated ones. when I checked if they stick to magnets, the shop-keeper boldly proclaimed, "Saar, SS screws should stick to magnet!" Yaah...I need to re-learn physics :)
The coated screws get rusted after a while and removing the shutter/hinge becomes a pain. Most carpenters, unskilled as they are, will adopt some brute-force technique. Hence, I was looking for real SS screws. onlyscrews.in provided SS 304 screws as they advertised and delivered on time. Have used them and am happy!
